Power sliding doors on one or both sides are common on higher trims, if you want them.

2WD or 4WD
Some versions were offered with four-wheel drive. Useful in snow or on rough tracks, but it can cost more to run.

Every car at a Japanese dealer auction is inspected and given an overall grade and an interior letter. The typical Toyota Alphard in our sample is grade 3.5. You can ask for a minimum grade when you order. We translate the auction sheet for you before any bid.

- 5 Excellent Low miles, near-perfect.
- 4.5 Very good Minimal marks for its age.
- 4 Good Light, honest wear. A sweet spot.
- 3.5 Fair Visible wear; read the sheet.
- 3 Rough Needs work; often best avoided.
- R / RA Repaired Past accident repair. Only with care.
