Website terms
The ground rules for using this website, and how to read the prices on it.

Using this website
By using this website you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed.
The website is for people in the UK who are interested in importing a car from Japan. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t misuse it, for example by trying to get unauthorised access, sending spam through the enquiry form, or copying large parts of the price guide automatically.
Prices are estimates, not quotes
Prices, savings and costs shown on this website — in the price guide, collections, calculator or anywhere else — are estimates. They are based on recent Japanese dealer auction results, exchange rates and typical import costs at the time they were calculated.
- They are not offers to sell, and not quotes for any particular car.
- Real prices vary by car, grade, mileage, auction, timing and exchange rates, and may be higher or lower.
- Comparisons with UK prices are approximate and are not a promise that you will save money.
- Tax and duty rates and rules are set by government and may change.
We do not hold stock. Models shown on the site are examples of what typically sells at auction, not cars we have for sale.
Our service fee
For each car we source, we charge a service fee calculated as a percentage of the estimated landed cost of the car, subject to a minimum fee per car. The current rate and minimum are shown on our FAQ and included in the all-in estimates on this website. The fee for a specific car is confirmed in your written quote before we bid.
[Fee terms — including when the fee is payable, VAT treatment and what happens to the fee if we don’t win a car — to be confirmed]
Custom orders and the sourcing deposit
When you place a custom order, we ask for a £30 sourcing deposit so we can start searching for your car. You pay it through a secure payment link we send you. It isn’t an extra charge: it is deducted from your final price.
- The deposit is fully refundable.
- You get it back if you cancel within 14 days of placing your order.
- You also get it back if we can’t find a car that matches your order within the search window we agree with you.
- Paying the deposit doesn’t commit you to buying a car. Nothing else is due until you approve a specific car and its written all-in quote.
[How and when refunds are paid, and how the deposit is applied to the final invoice — to be confirmed]
Enquiries don’t create a contract
Sending us an enquiry, or receiving an estimate or shortlist from us, doesn’t create a contract or commit you to anything. If you decide to go ahead with a specific car, we’ll give you a written quote and our separate terms of service, including our fee, the deposit, what happens if we don’t win the car and what happens if a car arrives with a problem. Those terms will apply once you accept them.
[Terms of service for vehicle sourcing and import to be confirmed]
